New President of the Gemius Board appointed

Gemius announces changes in the composition of its Management Board. As of 7 December 2011, Piotr Ejdys, previously a Member of the Supervisory Board, takes the position of the President of the Gemius Board, replacing Artur Zawadzki. The latter from now on will hold the post of Vice-President of the Board.
Piotr Ejdys has been working at Gemius for eleven years now and he already held the position of the President of the Board between 2001 and 2009. A graduate from Computer Science at the University of Warsaw, he specializes in artificial intelligence. He is the author and co-author of numerous publications in the field of theoretical computer science and research theory, as well as a university lecturer. He is also a member of the European Society for Opinion and Market Research (ESOMAR). On the hitherto position of a Supervisory Board Member, he was responsible for IT in the Gemius Group and directly supervised the development of the AdOcean company.
As Piotr Ejdys comments on the change: For these almost 3 years, Artur Zawadzki was deeply committed to the company’s development and I am very thankful for that. I am also proud and enthusiastic to take the position of the President of the Board once again and I am ready for the new challenges waiting for me. The development of Gemius has been one of the most important considerations in my life for over a decade now.
Artur Zawadzki, the hitherto Gemius Board President, on 7 December 2011 re-takes the post of the company’s Vice-President – a position he held between 2003 and 2009. Artur Zawadzki, who joined Gemius in 2001, has worked for many years now on the development of the internet in Poland by promoting modern e-business solutions. I am heartily convinced that the present change will prove to be the best choice for Gemius at the present moment.
