gemiusTraffic - FAQ

Does gemiusTraffic measure usage by Internet users who do not accept cookies?

  • gemiusTraffic uses cookies to differentiate between Internet users. If an Internet user turns cookies off, then gemiusTraffic will still gather information about the Internet user and his visit (e.g. technical data, IP address, Referrer page, etc.). However gemiusTraffic will be unable to tie this information to an individual Visitor, as the research will be unable to assign a unique identifier to that user. Since Non-Cookie Page Views cannot be aggregated to form Visits, only Page Views are reported from Internet users with disabled cookies.
